Coy Ray Brasuell

Graveside services with military honors for Coy Ray Brasuell, 87, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Largent Cemetery.

Mr. Brasuell was born December 26, 1935 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Ovella (White) and Homer Brasuell, and died Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Brasuell graduated from Hudson High School in 1954. He served in the U.S. Army and retired as a foreman from International Paper. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his son, Dennis Brasuell and wife Karen; grandson, Jared Brasuell and children Colton Brasuell and Rebecca Brasuell; granddaughter, April Brasuell, significant other Justin Cartwright, and children Hunter Cartwright, Case Cartwright, Owen Cartwright, and Cooper Cartwright; granddaughter, Christy Hall, husband Bob, and children Kason Hall, Kooper Hall, and Kenley Cohagen; granddaughter, Cassidy Siracuse and husband Joe; granddaughter, Abby Adkins; and his brother, James Brasuell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Brasuell; and son, Mark Brasuell.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Cartwright, Colton Brasuell, Kevin Brasuell, Keith Brasuell, Timmy Battenfield, and Philip Glawson.
