Claudia Jo Beth (Cockrell) Piper

Celebration of Life Services and interment for Claudia Jo Beth (Cockrell) Piper, 79, of Aztec, New Mexico will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 3250 Fredericksburg Road, Kerrville, Texas, with her husband, Reverend David Piper, officiating.

Mrs. Piper was born January 8, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Elizabeth (Luethcke) and Leroy C. Cockrell, Sr. Her homegoing to Heaven was Thursday, October 12, 2023 in Lufkin, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. David Piper of Aztec, New Mexico; daughter, Tamara Sue Piper of Ft. Collins, Colorado; son, David Piper II, wife Cynthia and grandson Trystin Piper of Sterling, Colorado; brothers, Leroy Cockrell Jr. and wife Ann, and Rick Waters and wife Sharon; sister, Vera (Cockrell) Calvert and husband Dwyan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Rev. David Piper, David Piper II, Chris Calvert, Ricky Carroll, Vera Calvert, and Cynthia Piper.
