Clarence William "Bill" Spaine

Clarence William "Bill" Spaine was born on March 11, 1939 in Alfred, New York and died Thursday, May 16, 2024 in Tyler, Texas.

Mr. Spaine resided in Bullard for the past 40 years. He served as a member of the United States Navy for 8 years as a radioman second class. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and will be terribly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Shirley Joan Spaine of Bullard; children and their spouses, Becky and Steve Anderson of Hudson, William "Billy" and Shannon Spaine of Bullard; grandchildren, Lindsey and Will Tamplin, Brittany and Mason Bowen, Lauren Spaine and Shelby Harrison; great-grandchildren, Wade Tamplin and Madelyn Tamplin. He is also survived by his sisters, Patricia Curran, Linda and Dale Butts, and Polly Davin and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Cott.

The family would like to express sincere thanks to the medical staff at Trinity Mother Frances Tyler and Texas Oncology, Tyler.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
