Clarence Rodney Brazil

Rodney Brazil, 90, of Lufkin passed away Monday, June 12, 2023. He was born May 13, 1933 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Clarence and Norma Brazil.

Rodney served in the United States Air Force for four years before attending SFA where he obtained a  Bachelor of Science. He worked for Lufkin Industries for decades. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and animal lover who spent much of his free time taking care of his land and all the wild animals that inhabited the land. He served on the board of the Redland Water Authority and the Walker Cemetery Association for decades and was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church.

Rodney was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Pat; and survived by his children, Scott Brazil, Patrick Brazil, Erin Everett; and his sister, Charlotte Wilson. He was also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many animals.
