Clarence L. Eason, Sr.

Funeral service for Clarence L. Eason, Sr., 74, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend M. H. Shubert officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Eason was born May 19, 1944 in Groveton, Texas to Corrine (Ferguson) and William Eason, and died Monday, January 21, 2019 at his residence. He was a machinist for EPCO for 16 years. Mr. Eason loved music and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar.

Survivors include his fiancée, April Hopkins; Bernice Eason, mother of sons, Clarence Wayne Eason and wife Stacy and Jeremy Eason and wife Ana; Jamie McCoy, mother of children, Clarence L. Eason, Jr., Caitlin Eason and Chelsea Eason; grandchildren, River Espitia, Jonah Eason, Grason Eason, and Liam Eason; mother, Corine Ferguson; brothers, James Eason and Johnnie Roberts; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and sisters, Clara Johnson and Nancy Sailor.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
