Funeral services for Charlie Arthur Graham, 63, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother David Merritt officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Apple Springs.
Mr. Graham was born September 30, 1960 in Bossier City, Louisiana to Catherine Marie (Anderson) and Quincy Graham, and died Thursday, February 29, 2024 at his residence.
Mr. Graham was an officer with the Lufkin Police Department for 30 years and then worked for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission as an Enforcement Sergeant for the past 9 1/2 years. He was a member of McKindree Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Pamela (Taylor) Graham of Lufkin; daughters, Tamara Rudisill of Etoile and Emily Graham of Temple; son, Charlie Graham, Jr. of Huntington; stepdaughter, Brandi Byley of Bronson; grandchildren, Cody Rudisill, Natalie Rudisill, Rylan Graham, Tristan Graham, and Leigha Graham; father, Quincy Graham of Lufkin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Brenda Ingram of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Van Graham and Lori Allen of Etoile, and John and Brenda Graham of Lufkin; sister, Marla Prouty of Wells; parents-in-law, Judy and Britt Jolley of Brownwood; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Graham; stepmother, Helen Graham; stepson, Clay Byley; and brothers, Clell Graham and Joe Graham.
Pallbearers will be David Walker, Anthony Mitchon, Jay Jost, Bill Murphy, Jerry Smith, and Gerald Williamson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Devine, Bobby Castillo, Ronny LaRue, Rodney Bivens, members of the Blue Knights Texas Chapter 22, and his TABC family.
Memorial contributions may be made to McKindree Baptist Church, 557 McKindree Road, Lufkin, Texas 75901.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
