Funeral Service for Charles Ronald “Ronnie” Womack, 74, of Hudson will be held Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Christian Womack officiating. Interment will follow at the Narrow Way Cemetery.
Ronnie was born February 22, 1951 in Houston Texas to the late Mary Florence (McGilvra) and Sherwin William Womack, and died Sunday, November 23, 2025 in the comfort of his home.
Ronnie was a Hudson High School graduate. On August 21st, 1971 he married his beloved wife, Rebecca Ann Lovejoy. They enjoyed traveling together all over the states, where they found a passion for collecting antiques. In 1975, he and his wife welcomed their one and only child Kris, who they loved dearly. Ronnie was a salesman for Texas Timberjack for 30 plus years, along the way he never met a stranger; he was known for being a friend to all who crossed paths with him. He was always willing to help and would never let you pay him back. He cherished his friends, and even more so his family. His two granddaughters were his pride and joy; Paw would never miss an event that involved them. When the two great-granddaughters came along, his heart grew more than he could have imagined. Paw truly loved his girls. Ronnie was a family man above all, never missing a birthday, holiday, or any gathering he knew that his family would be at. If he wasn’t around family, you could find him with friends on the deer lease or across the states on hunting trips. Above all Ronnie valued the word of God, prayers, and was a very faithful man. Him and his wife attended Providence Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Becky of Lufkin; son, Charles (Kris) Womack of Lufkin; granddaughter and spouse, Holland and Michael Clemens of Lufkin; granddaughter, Ireland Womack of Lufkin; great-granddaughters, Tatum and Sutton Clemens both of Lufkin; sisters-in-law, Stacey Womack and Clasina Watson both of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dearly loved relatives.
