Charles Craig Mcgilvra

Charles Craig McGilvra, 69, of Lufkin died Friday, October 1, 2021 in a local hospital. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. McGilvra was born October 28, 1951 in Lufkin, Texas to Bobbie Jean (Stephenson) and Billy Charles McGilvra. He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired forklift operator. He had worked for the Weyerhaeueser Box Plant in Sealy as well as Southland Paper Mill. Mr. McGilvra enjoyed fishing and watching sports.

Survivors include his son, Taylor Yates McGilvra of Beaumont; mother, Bobbie (Stephenson) McGilvra of Lufkin; brother, Mark Kevin McGilvra of Lufkin; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Charles McGilvra.
