Charles Ray Cline, Sr.

Funeral services for Charles Ray Cline, Sr., 97, of Corrigan will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Corrigan. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in the Forrest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.

Mr. Cline was born June 11, 1929 in Corrigan, Texas to the late Erma (Sterling) and Jesse Cline, and died Wednesday, September 16, 2026 in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Cline proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a ham radio operator and enjoyed connecting with others around the country. He had a generous heart and gave his time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, helping others in need. Mr. Cline had a true passion for woodworking and took great pride in his craftmanship. One of his most meaningful accomplishments was building his own home in Corrigan, a place he created to be filled with lots of love and memories. He was a member of First Baptist Church Corrigan for many years. Mr. Cline will be remembered for his service, generosity, and his hard-working spirit, and the many lives he touched throughout his life.

Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Cline; son, Charles Ray Cline, Jr.; nephew, Robert Shook; and niece, Irene Jurgelewicz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sally (Arnold) Cline; sister, Dorothy Shook; and nephews, William Shook and Tom Shook.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home prior to the services.
