Charlene Ann Smith

Funeral services for Charlene Ann Smith, 59, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lufkin State Supported Living Center Chapel with Chaplain Greg Freijo officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday morning prior to the services.

Ms. Smith was born June 12, 1959 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of the late Lillian (Harrison) and Alvie Smith. She died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 in a Lufkin hospital.

Ms. Smith was a resident of the Lone Pines Unit at the Lufkin State Supported Living Center. She loved music and talking to people and staff. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her sister, Glenda Seekford; brother, Robert Lee Smith; sister-in-law, Anita Smith; many nieces, nephews and other family members; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ronnie Smith.
