Graveside services for Cecelia Parrish, 75, of Lufkin will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 12:00 noon in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Brother David Sarver officiating.
Ms. Parrish was born February 22, 1946 in Denton, Texas to the late Geneva (Schmidt) and Joe Ralph Redd, and died Monday, November 1, 2021 in a local hospice facility. She resided in Lufkin most of her life and was an artist. She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lori Parrish, Eric Parrish and partner Allison Horsley, all of Lufkin; grandchildren and spouses, Brianna and Chase Phillips, Megan and Paul Karow, and Regan Parrish; great-grandchildren, Karlie Karow and Garrit Phillips; sister, Pamela Redd of Nacogdoches; cousin, Sharon McAdams of Keltys; and special friends, Nancy Jernigan and Tommie Morris.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Mike Parrish.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
