Carson Avery Dickson

March 4, 1999 — December 28, 2024

A Celebration of Life for Carson Avery Dickson will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Fellowship Church in Round Rock.

Heaven has gained an angel. Taken from us too soon, but God has big plans for her, and she had done all the work she could do here. Carson Avery Dickson was gifted to us March 4, 1999 and called home to be with Jesus on December 28, 2024.

Carson was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and grew up in Round Rock, Texas. Graduating from Cedar Ridge High School in 2017, she went on to obtain her BSN in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2021 where she was an Alpha Phi sister. Carson worked her dream job at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas in Houston as a labor and delivery nurse since graduating. She had recently delivered her 100th baby.

Carson’s memory will forever be cherished by her parents, Troy and Marcy Dickson and little brother, Trevor, of Round Rock, Texas; her sister, Lauren Garner, and her family of Lebanon, Tennessee; grandparents, Roy and Vicki Dickson of Conroe, Texas and David and Donna Wright of Wimberley, Texas; aunts, uncles and cousins, Brian, Teresa, Zach and Taylor Vardeman, Tami and Brian Ohlfest; the Kolar family, including Abi, that loved Carson as their own from the first moment they met her at birth; her entire L&D team at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas.

Carson was blessed with lifelong friends that she held so close from elementary school until the day she went Home. They had an unbreakable bond: Erin Wright, Alaina Fowler, Grant McCartney, Colin Kanatzar and Cameron Wofford.

Carson was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Leon and Elizabeth Wright, Joy and Howard Quast, Carl George, Dewey and Francis Dickson.

Carson loved every genre of music and had a beautiful singing voice. She played several instruments and loved to dance. Her favorite place to be was by the water - beach, lake, river or poolside.

Carson loved animals of all kinds - her current cat Piper was her absolute joy. She’s reunited with her beloved Cooper, her childhood pup and we know they’re loving on each other.

Our girl loved Jesus and had recently been so actively pursuing a relationship with Him. We rest easy in this and have a true peace.

In lieu of flowers please support Carson's Corner at The Woman's Hospital of Texas by going to gofundme.com and typing Carson's Corner in the search box.

Carson was a light that shined so bright and it remains in her absence. She touched the lives of all that crossed her path in the short time she was with us. She was an angel before entering the gates and we will forever carry her in our hearts. She continues to serve, spread joy and touch lives through organ donation.
