Funeral services for Carolyn Ann Crain, 73, of Houston will be held Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jacob Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow in the Fielder Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Crain was born April 7, 1945 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Amy (James) and Calvin Crain, and died Thursday, October 4, 2018 in a Houston hospital. She had resided in Houston for more than 50 years and retired from Pennzoil. Ms. Crain was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Alvis and Betty Crain of Lufkin; nieces and their husbands, Sherrie and John Warren of Whitehouse, Renee and Richard Albrecht of San Augustine, Alicia and Stephen Clarady of Lufkin; aunt, Millie Boone of Florida; uncle, Grady Crain of Arkansas; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Terry Pilkington, Stephen Clarady, Richard Albrecht, Jr., John Warren, J.C. Havard and Wyman Morton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Donor Development Office, 6977 Main Street, Houston, Texas 77030.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon prior to the services.
