Carl Wilkerson

Graveside services for Carl Wilkerson, 95, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Berry Cemetery with Brother Adrian Neal officiating.

Mr. Wilkerson was born December 7, 1930 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Myrta (Henderson) and Andrew Wilkerson, and died Thursday, February 12, 2026 at his residence.

Mr. Wilkerson graduated from Redland High School as Valedictorian in 1949. His passion was music and electronics and he played in bands all across Texas and Colorado. In his later years Mr. Wilkerson owned and operated Wilkerson TV Repair for 20 years. He was a Christian.

Survivors include his niece and nephew, Teresa and Frank Green of Huntington; nephew and niece, Mike and Carol Brevell of Huntington; two great-nieces; two great-nephews; six great-great-nieces; two great-great-nephews; and one great-great-great-nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jo Wilkerson; and sister and brother-in-law, Beryl and Robert Brevell.

Pallbearers will be Frank Green, Cody Green, Luke Green, Aaron Mason, Charles Hall, and Mike Brevell.
