Byron Hill "Buck" Lee

Funeral services for Byron Hill “Buck” Lee, 63, of Hudson will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Rosslyn Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Wallace Chapel Cemetery.

Buck was born September 14, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas to Jerry Lynn and Delois Jeanne (Dunn) Lee, and died Thursday, June 3, 2021 in Houston.

After retiring last year, Buck looked forward to going to the river and spending time with his friends at the shack. Buck was a simple man who found pleasure sitting on the back porch watching the deer and other wildlife. He was an accomplished guitar player that loved picking guitars and teaching others.

His greatest joy was his three beautiful grandchildren and watching them play. Buck was a man of his word, great friend, and a true family man. Buck will be missed everyday by all that knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Sara Lee of Hudson; daughter and son-in-law, Cortney Riddell and Clint of League City; son, Clinton Hill Lee of Hudson; grandchildren, Madison Carter of League City, Kyleigh Wood of Hudson and Colten Lee of Hudson; parents, Jerry and Jeanne Lee of Hudson; brother, Marty Lee of Douglas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Regina Thomas and Joey of Etoile and Richelle Thornton and Daniel of Hudson; several nieces and numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tony Wise, Lonnie Hollingsworth, Dennis Shoemaker, Bubba Roach, Stephen Harrison, and Jeff Hobbs.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
