Bro. Wayne Peterson

Graveside services for Bro. Wayne Peterson, 77, of Lufkin will be held Friday, July 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Fielder Memorial Cemetery with Brother Tony Holder officiating.

Bro. Peterson was born March 6, 1947 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Mary Juanita (Smith) and Claborn Peterson, and died Monday, July 1, 2024 at his residence. He was a retired sheet metal worker and was a member of New Life Lufkin.

Survivors include his wife, Karen (Casanover) Peterson; daughter and son-in-law, Kibby and Steve Smith; son, Charles Peterson; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Samantha Williams; son, Gilbert Williams; daughter, Almenia Hatfield; daughter, Elyssia Willis; grandchildren, Kouressa Smith, Kourtelynne Clack and husband Kyle, Steven Smith, Amber Tolleson, Alyssa Tolleson, Bailey Holland and husband Matt, Dylan Tolleson, Stormy Williams, Kaydence Williams, Taylor Williams, Jacob Williams, Julia Williams, Quinn Williams, Wade Wilson Williams, and Jace Ritchey; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Clack, Tinsley Barrett, Greyson Barrett, Everett Hill, Charlie Holland, and Jensen Holland; and brother, Alton Peterson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rox Ann Peterson; grandson, Nathaniel Peterson; and brother, Leroy Peterson.
