Funeral services for Brady Tucker, 21, of Lufkin will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Keltys First Baptist Church with Dr. Darryl Smith and Jimmy Jack Pannell officiating. Interment will follow in the Gann Cemetery.
Brady was born January 29, 2004 in Odessa, Texas to Carla (Stephens) and Rodney Tucker, and died Thursday, August 7, 2025 from sustained injuries in an accident in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
Brady was a member of TimberCreek Church and loved the Lord with all of his heart. He loved sharing about his Lord, so much so, that in junior high school he was known as “Preacher Man”, and was a founding member of Jackets for Jesus. Brady was a 2022 graduate of LEAD Academy. He was employed with Lakey, Inc. and was a Firefighter with Central Volunteer Fire Department and was named Firefighter of the Year in 2024. Brady was a member of the Huntington High School Bass Club, fishing in tournaments locally and across the United States. He was named Angler of the Year in 2022. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. Brady was always happy and would go out of his way to help anyone. Brady will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his father, Rodney Tucker and wife Sarah of Lufkin; mother, Carla Revard and husband Shannon of Dassel, Minnesota; grandmother, Delores Jackson of Texarkana; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alyssa Pepsworth, Breanna and Dan Landrus, Taylor and Josh Roles, nephews, Everett, Gilbert, and Emmett; Aunt Teresa and Uncle Kevin, Aunt Beverly and Uncle Luke, Aunt Cindy and Uncle Howard, Aunt Mitzie and Uncle Stephen; cousins, Devin, Lynsi, Danae, Lance, Grace, Faith, Lillie, Cole, Evelynn, Henry, Grace, J.R., Ezra, Maddie; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Papa, Lynn Stephens; and Papaw and Granny, Paul and Pat Tucker.
Pallbearers will be Lance Cheatham, Devin Payne, Eli Box, Cayden West, Mason Holmes, Colyer Martin, Brax Brockman, and Brice Hazelton.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Central Volunteer Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 66, Pollok, Texas 75969.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Keltys First Baptist Church.
