Bobby Joe Cook, Jr.

Funeral services for Bobby Joe Cook, Jr., 52, of Lufkin will be held Friday, June 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Pastor Ben Merritt officiating. Interment will follow at Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan.

Mr. Cook was born June 4, 1974 in Lufkin, Texas to Connie Ann (Tillar) and Bobby Joe Cook, Sr., and died Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at his residence.

He was a lifetime resident of Diboll and worked as a millwright for several companies for 20 plus years. Mr. Cook enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He dearly loved his family and was the most caring and loving person they’ve ever known. Mr. Cook was a Christian.

Survivors include his wife, Brandie (Windham) Cook of Lufkin; daughters, Chasity Cook of Lufkin and Haleigh Cook of Burke; stepson and daughter-in-law, Collin and Maytlind Clark of Tyler; stepdaughters, Savannah Clark of Dallas and Mylee Donaldson of Lufkin; grandchildren, Trey and Olivia; mother, Connie Burnett of Hudson; brothers and sister-in-law, John Holt of Etoile, Steven and Ashley Burnett of Livingston, and Jeff Burnett of Florida; sisters and brother-in-law, Ashley and Russell Baird of Oklahoma and Priscilla Ordaz of Diboll; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Pallbearers will be Orlando Ordaz, Josh Parks, Sam Baker, Mike Morgan, Jose Herendez, and Steve Frazier.

The family extends special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice for the loving care that was given to Bobby.
