Bobby "Bob" Ottice Tucker, Jr.

Funeral services for Bobby “Bob” Ottice Tucker, Jr., 64, of Lufkin will be held Friday, October 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Williams officiating. Private burial will follow.

Mr. Tucker was born May 9, 1958 in Lufkin, Texas to Annie Ruth (Allen) and Bobby Ottice Tucker, Sr., and died Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in a local hospital.

Mr. Tucker was a lifetime resident of Angelina County, a 1976 graduate of Central High School, and was a retired welder. Mr. Tucker enjoyed cooking and grilling, gardening, working cattle, and being in the outdoors. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Survivors include his mother, Annie Ruth Tucker of Lufkin, brother and sister-in-law, Andy and Paula Tucker of Longview; sisters and brother-in-law, Susan Havard of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Wendy and Phil Gersbach of Pollok; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ottice Tucker, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Phil Gersbach, Hunter Gersbach, Steve Allen, Chris Allen, Matthew Lang, and Aaron Tucker.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon prior to the services.
