On Sunday, July 20, 2025, Billy Neal Marshall passed away at his residence in Huntington, Texas. He was father of two girls, husband, and friend of many. He will be so missed by everyone.

Billy was born February 23, 1953 to Benjamin Lloyd Marshall and Lucille Weaver Marshall. He was a graduate of Zavalla High School Class of 1971. He became a professional welder by trade, later teaching welding at Lufkin High School. He spent multiple years in the welding trade before retiring.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lloyd Wayne, and special pet friend, Heidi. He is survived by wife, Mary E. “Beth” Marshall, and daughters, Mandy, spouse Ricky Martin, and Alicia Kay, spouse Tim Bryan. He is also survived by brother, Kenneth, wife Kathy, nephew Kenny Marshall, and sister, Lue Nell Miller. Grandchildren are Carter and Gabriel Bryan, Skylar Martin and Melanie Aleman, Hunter and Tallon Martin, Miranda Smith and children Maddisyn and Cash, Abby and Luke Redd, Hannah Gilbert, and Luke Gilbert and Alexis.

Billy’s best friends through the years are fellow welders and mechanics Merlin Martin and Ira Keith Lewis.

Billy is to be cremated and a memorial service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 506 John Keely Road, Zavalla, Texas 75980 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
