Beverly Mcclelland

Funeral services for Beverly McClelland, 70, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Largent Cemetery.  Mrs. McClelland was born February 19, 1947 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Lois (Burkholder) and George Robinson. She died Saturday, September 23, 2017 in a Lufkin nursing facility.  Mrs. McClelland had resided in Lufkin since 1992. She retired from the Lufkin State Supported Living Center following 13 years of service. Mrs. McClelland had bowled in Lufkin for the last 20 years. She also enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, painting and crafting, collecting recipes, and gardening. She was of the Baptist faith.  Survivors include her husband, Dallas McClelland of Lufkin; children, Emily Ann Messer and husband Curtis of Lufkin, Stephanie Orange and husband Michael of Deweyville, Dallas Aaron McClelland, and Nancy Elaine McClelland, both of Lufkin; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Istre and husband Wally of Beaumont, Linda Breaux of Pendleton, Indiana, Judy McDougle and husband Mark of Nederland, and Betty Johnson of Stark, Louisiana; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Athea Robinson; and son, Robert Fears.  Pallbearers will be Tracy Goodart, James Mills, Jeff Ellis, Cory Montes, Theo McClelland, and Kenneth Netherton.  Memorial contributions may be made to The ALS Association, Gift Processing Center, P.O.
