Betty White Sullins

Funeral services for Betty White Sullins, 85, of Zavalla will be held Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Fred Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery.

Mrs. Sullins was born May 15, 1935 in Council Valley, Oklahoma to the late Johnsie Cama (Coates) and Guy White, and died Monday, October 26, 2020 in a local hospice facility.

Mrs. Sullins was a secretary for Beaumont Navigation District. After retirement, Betty and Wayne traveled in their Airstream trailers and motorhomes extensively throughout the United States and Canada. They spent over twenty years exploring our beautiful country while enjoying friends and meeting new ones. They were members of the Texas Airstream Harbor Club and also worked as campground hosts in Yellowstone and Idaho. Mrs. Sullins was a member of Shady Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her spouse, Wallace Wayne Sullins of Zavalla; daughters and son-in-law, Renee and Michael Covington, Rhonda Sullins; sons and daughter-in-law, Danny and Treva Sullins, David Sullins; grandchildren and spouses, Tara and Johnathan Hall, Lauren and Daniel Figard, Patrick Sullins and Michaela Fenter; and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Covington, Carl Graham, Patrick Sullins, Daniel Figard, Tommy Largent, and Paul Bevering.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning prior to the service.
