Bernice Bass

Bernice Bass, 74, of Huntington died Friday, August 6, 2021 at her residence. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Bass was born January 14, 1947 in Rosenberg, Texas to the late Sadie (Loesch) and Louis Zikuhr. Formerly of Sweeny, she had resided in Huntington since 2008. She was a sweet lady of unshakeable faith. Mrs. Bass was a member of Ozias Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Bass of Huntington; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Brian Finley of Brazoria; granddaughters, Kaytlin Bass of Sweeny and Brie Day of Brazoria; and great-grandson, Gannon Dixon of Sweeny.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, David Glenn Bass.
