Barbara Johnson Odor

Funeral services for Barbara Johnson Odor, 88, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Cindy Doran officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mrs. Odor was born December 2, 1934 in Kyle, Texas to the late Roxie Ann (Stanford) and Walter Lee Johnson, Sr., and died Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Odor had resided in Lufkin for 12 years. She was a great cook and loved to paint and sew. She was very crafty. Her loves were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Odor was a member of Keltys United Methodist Church.

Survivors include daughter, Tina Glover of Lufkin; son, Tim Odor and wife Dawn of Wisconsin; granddaughters, Stephanie Lawson and husband Justin, Stacy Smith and husband Michael, all of Lufkin; grandson, Timothy Glover of Lufkin; great-grandsons, Jacob Lawson and Noah Smith; sisters, Bobbie Sanders of Folsom, Louisiana and Jo Rule of Austin; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Holt Odor; infant daughter, Tracy Jo Odor; son-in-law, Lonnie Glover; and brother, Walter Lee Johnson, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Arnold, James Cude, Timothy Glover, Justin Lawson, Michael Smith, and Mike Sanders.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Lawson and Noah Smith.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
