Barbara Ann Mansky

A visitation for Barbara Ann Mansky, 74, of Huntington will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Carroway Funeral Home in Huntington. A private burial will be held in Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.

Ms. Mansky was born August 11, 1948 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Evelyn (Weed) and William Newcomb, and died Saturday, December 17, 2022 at her residence.

Ms. Mansky was a true homemaker in every sense of the word and loved taking care of her family. She was a seamstress, an excellent cook, loved to bake, enjoyed doing crafts, and was a collector of many things. Her son Trey was active in Boy Scouts, where she was a Den Mother and was also one of the team moms throughout his baseball years. Barbara loved her Lord and time spent with her church family. At her Full Gospel Church in Texas City she was a Youth Leader, Song Leader, and a member of the Path Lighters.

Survivors include her partner of 30 years, Gregg Winchell of Huntington; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Bobby Epperly of Huntington; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Lisa Newcomb of Huntington; sister-in-law, Peggy Newcomb of Tomball; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tracy “Trey” Mansky; and brothers, Billy Newcomb and Donald Newcomb.

The family would like to thank Affinity Hospice caregivers, Ashley, Peyton, Tammie, Kathy, Donna, and especially Gina, for the wonderful care they gave to our Barbara.
