Baltazar Lara, Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial for Baltazar Lara, Jr., 20, of Diboll will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Fr. Luis Arroyave officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel.

Baltazar was born October 9, 1997 in California, and died Sunday, May 6, 2018 in Diboll, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Baltazar had resided in Diboll since 2005. He was about to complete his education in Auto Mechanics at Angelina College and was planning to begin a career in the U.S. Marine Corps in September. Baltazar aspired to continue his education after the Marines in the field of Border Patrol. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Survivors include his parents, Florisela (Amador) and Baltazar Lara, Sr. of Diboll; sister, Alexandra Lara of Diboll; brother, Walter Lara of California; grandparents, Vicente Lara and Petra Guerrero of California and Glafira Fernandes of Mexico; girlfriend, Idalia Sundobal of Louisiana; and a number of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gilberto Amador.

Pallbearers will be Baltazar Lara, Sr., Walter Lara, Rosolio Escovedo, Sr., Rosalio Escovedo, Jr., Armando Lara, and Victor Lara, Jr.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
