Aubie L. Loving

Funeral services for Aubie L. Loving, 80, of Lufkin will be held Friday, December 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Brother Bobby Johnson officiating. Interment will follow the services.

Mrs. Loving was born January 11, 1943 in Nacogdoches, Texas to the late Mary Alice (Coutchman) and Marvin Smithhart, and died Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Loving’s favorite thing to do was mowing her yard. She enjoyed Facebooking and played piano by ear. She loved French bulldogs.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Ray Loving of Lufkin; daughter, Lanita Loving of Lufkin; son, Jeff Loving of Hudson; sister, Mary Sue Wade of Bogalusa, Louisiana; special friend, Billy Watts of Hudson; and her fur baby, Jae Jae.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones for a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon at the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel.
