Arnold Mack Musick

A visitation for Arnold Mack Musick, 77, of Lufkin will be held Monday, March 10, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carroway Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Musick was born October 6, 1947 in Grapeland, Texas to the late Martha Ruth (Lambright) and Frank Musick, and died Friday, March 7, 2025 at his residence.

Arnold proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was an Electrician by trade and had worked in the Maintenance Department at Palestine ISD for eight years. Arnold enjoyed being outdoors, working with horses, and tinkering on things. He was a real jokester. In his spare time he loved reading westerns. He was a gun collector and taught gun safety at Grace Baptist Church, where he was a member. More than anything, he was a very loving father and grandfather who truly adored his family.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Regina and David Pixley of Palestine; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Ashley Musick of Zavalla; grandchildren, Christon Musick, Dakota Morse, Sierra Garcia, Shawna Pixley, Blake Musick, Rainey Carr, Brianna Carr, Elijah Musick, Noah Musick, Issac Musick, Amelia Musick, Parker and Gabe; along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Shawna Carr; son, Greg Musick; brothers, Raymond Musick, Kenneth Musick, Truett Pevey; and sister, Ava Musick.
