Memorial services for Annette Conner Richardson, 74, of Hudson will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark Livingston, Brother Roy Hall and Brother Jerry Browning officiating, with a reception following in the Carroway Family Reception Room. A private entombment will be held at the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mrs. Richardson was born March 27, 1944 in Houston County, Texas to the late Lois (Wells) and Willard Conner, and went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Richardson had resided in Angelina County most of her life. She was the Salutatorian at Hudson High School in the class of ’62 and retired as an Administrative Assistant after 34 years of service at Hudson ISD. She was a voracious reader who loved to travel. She loved kids and was known to help raise whomever needed her. She enjoyed cooking, even for the large family gatherings and the neighbors. Her ministry was with kids in the church nursery, Vacation Bible School and Sunday School. Mrs. Richardson was a member of Keltys First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Darrel G. Richardson of Hudson; daughter, Lisa Dotson and husband Greg of Hudson; son, Kevin Richardson of Hudson; grandchildren, Blake Dotson and wife Amanda of Waco, Alyssa Dotson of San Marcus, Conner Richardson and Cole Richardson, both of Hudson; great-grandson, Logan Dotson of Waco; sister, Janice Rogers and husband J.L. of Jasper; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jimmy W. Conner.
