Annette Smith Brock

Funeral services for Annette Smith Brock, 87, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pat Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Largent Cemetery.

Mrs. Brock was born December 14, 1930 in Corrigan, Texas to the late Floy Brunette (Skinner) and Cleo Alva Smith, and died Monday, July 30, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Brock had resided in Lufkin all of her life. She was a homemaker and loved to paint. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a mother to many. She was a member of Union Road Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Robert Brock, of Lufkin; sons, Gary E. Brock and wife Kim of Huntington and Ricky Brock and wife Denise of Central; daughter, Juli Allen and husband Malcom of Lufkin; granddaughter, Misty Corley of Huntington; granddaughter and Care Giver, Tiffany Brock of Central; grandsons, Chad Brock and wife Starlin of Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, Lane Brock of Central, Hunter Allen and Colby Allen, both of Lufkin; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Justyce, Addyson, Corban, and Sawyer; sister-in-law, JoAnn Smith of Colorado Springs, Colorado; special niece, Floy Niemet of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Brenda Brock; one sister; and three brothers.

Pallbearers will be Malcom Allen, Larry Davis, Don Parrish, Colby Allen, Lane Brock, and Glenn Cummings.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jason Parrish.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
