Ann (Barrett) Conn

Funeral services for Ann (Barrett) Conn, 77, of Huntington will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Jackson Colwell officiating. Interment will follow in Huntington Cemetery.

Ms. Conn was born July 24, 1948 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Lula Mae (Johnson) and Johnny Paul Barrett, and died Sunday, June 28, 2026 at her residence.

She resided in Huntington most of her life and was a Telecommunications Operator at TXU Phone Company and Consolidated Communications for 35 plus years. Ms. Conn enjoyed painting, cooking, and fishing. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and loved her dog, Cosmo. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Leanne and Tim Hutchison of Huntington; stepson and daughter-in-law, Jason and Stephanie Conn of Huntington; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Archie and Shannon Clements of Garrison; grandchildren and spouses, Justin Conn, Colton and Jessica Clements, Cody and Morgan Conn, Madysen and Colton Havard, Lauren and James Hughes, Jeremy Conn, Kaycee and Cody Havard, Savannah Clements, Jasper Conn, and Cooper Hutchison; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Colton Havard, Cody Havard, Cooper Hutchison, Colton Clements, Jeremy Conn, Jasper Conn, and Justin Conn.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Lufkin.
