Allen Harris Proctor

Funeral services for Allen Harris Proctor, 65, of Corrigan will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Barnum First Baptist Church in  Corrigan with Brother Calvin Bittick officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Proctor was born March 9, 1957 in Houston to Frances (Ives) and Noel B. Proctor, and died Friday, May 20, 2022 in Lufkin.

Mr. Proctor had many skills and talents. He was a Houston Police Officer, did woodworking, made furniture, built and remodeled homes, was a truck driver, and worked in various machine shops throughout his career. He was a member of Barnum First Baptist Church in Corrigan.

Survivors include his daughters, Amanda Proctor of Corrigan, Cortnie O’Shea of Port Neches; sons, Noel Proctor and John Proctor, both of Lufkin; grandchildren, Joseph O’Shea and Grace O’Shea, both of Port Neches; mother, Frances Proctor of Corrigan; sister, Ellen Johnson and husband Roger of Mountain, Wisconsin; brothers, Noel W. Proctor of Tucson, Arizona, Mark Proctor and wife Nancy of Bayou Vista; niece, Stephanie Loftin and Ryan of Crosby; nephew, Stephen Proctor and Colleen of Pleasantville, California; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and wife, Cheryl Elaine Proctor.
