Allen Gault, Jr.

Funeral services for Allen Gault, Jr., 55, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Wayne Bickley officiating. Interment will follow in the Largent Cemetery.

Allen was born July 16, 1962 in Houston, Texas, and died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Cedar Park. A Lufkin resident for most of his life, he had resided in Leander for 4 1/2 years. He was a construction manager for Elite Heating and Air Conditioning. Allen loved hunting, fishing, cooking, fantasy football, and baseball. He was a huge Cowboys fan. Allen’s greatest joy was being PawPaw and spending time with all his grandbabies.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Alice Gault of Leander; sons, Kenneth Gault, Kaleb Gault, and their spouses, all of Leander; stepsons, Lew Ford of Long Island, New York and Shelby Ford of Leander; stepdaughters, Stephanie Ford and spouse of Tomball and Sonya Bickley and husband Tony of Round Rock; grandchildren, Jake Ford, Jordan Ford, Austin Treptow, Lauren Gault, Karston Allen, Ray Gault, Faith Ford, Caiden Bickley, Dillon Gault, Nya Gault, Khye Bickley, and Kayla Gault; mother and stepfather, Barbara Nell (Mullins) and Anthony Ken Hebert of Tomball; father and stepmother, Allen LeRoy, Sr. and Pamela Gault of Rusk; brother, Bryan Gault of Tomball; stepsisters, Traci Hebert of Scott, Louisiana and Terri Watson of Rusk; stepbrothers, Mark Flanigan of Bacliff and Michael Flanigan of Rusk;  and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Terry Renee Gault.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Gault, Kaleb Gault, Bryan Gault, Tony Bickley, Lew Ford, and Shelby Ford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas, 3710 Cedar Street, Box 3, Austin, Texas 78705.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon prior to the services.
