Funeral services for Aliza Jane Neal, infant daughter of Carisa Brook (Henson) and Jonathon Ray Neal of Sour Lake, will be held Monday, November 17, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Carl Vickery, Brother Cary Modisett, and David Holland, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Fielder Memorial Cemetery.
Aliza was born October 13, 2025 in Beaumont, Texas and died Monday, November 10, 2025 in Beaumont.
Aliza was already “sassy”, and her brothers adored her. She loved listening to conversations and music. She was a daddy’s girl and recognized his voice when he walked into a room. In her short time here, she was pure love, soft breaths, tiny hands, and eyes that carried heaven. She was her family’s miracle, her parents’ joy, and the gentle heartbeat that made her home complete. Her two brothers who watched over her with wonder. Haegen, her biggest fan, found his favorite person in her, and she, her first forever friend. Though her voice was never heard in words, her soul spoke in every smile, every sigh, and every quiet moment she gave us. She taught us how fragile, how sacred, and how infinite love is. She will live on in the laughter of her brothers, in the warmth of the sun, and in the endless sky that cradles her spirit. Our hearts are broken, yet we are grateful to have known an angel, if only for a moment.
“Some souls are too beautiful for this world. They stay just long enough to remind us what love truly means.”
In addition to her mommy and daddy, Aliza is survived by her brothers, Haegen Neal and Huxton Neal; grandparents, Mike and Criss Neal, Sarah Bertler, Rachael Holloway, Melissa Henson and Bryan Pyle; great-grandparents, Mike and Paula Henson, Jasmine Bertler, Donald and Eunice Self; the Self Family; aunts and uncles, Alissa Henson, Tyler and Marissa Baxter, Michael and Lexi Henson, Nathan and Raven Hawley, Mikaela Neal, Callie Neal, Timothy Faries, Avery Faries, Taylor and Jacob Cartwright, Lane and Cessali Williams, Jason Williams and Micah Harvill; cousins, Andrew and Charity Holloway; and numerous other relatives.
