Alejandro Sandoval

Mass of Christian Burial for Alejandro Sandoval, 62, of Lufkin will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 at 12:00 noon at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Fr. Raymundo Garcia officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Sandoval was born April 22, 1955 in Monterrey, Mexico to the late Manuela (Rodriguez) and Pedro Sandoval, and went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Houston.

Mr. Sandoval had resided in Lufkin for more than 35 years and had been a chef at Ralph & Kacoo’s for 25 years. He loved his family, music, dancing, and loved to laugh. Cooking was his passion. Mr. Sandoval was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Cristina Sandoval of Lufkin; children, Rubi Sandoval of Lufkin, Perla Alejandra Sandoval, Christian Garcia, both of Diboll, and Cecilia Martinez and husband Alvin of Lufkin; grandchildren, Alexandria Austin, Cristian Tamez, Charles Goeyns III, Cesar Sandoval, Krista Tamez, Ayden Martinez, Rey Cruz Renteria, and Romeo Alejandro Renteria; sister, Josefina Sandoval Trevino of Monterrey, Mexico; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Christian Garcia, Cristian Tamez, Charles Goeyns III, Cesar Sandoval, Alvin Martinez, Fernando Garcia, Juan Garcia, and Enrique Garcia.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
