Ada Louise Langston

Funeral services for Ada Louise (Stringer) Langston, 69, of Lumberton will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Concord Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Steve Rye officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery.

Mrs. Langston was born March 13, 1949 in Jasper, Texas to the late Bernice (Fitzgerald) and Doyle Stringer, and died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Langston was a homemaker and was the matriarch of the family. She meant everything to her family. Mrs. Langston was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Langston; sons, Stacy Langston and wife Robin, Michael Langston and wife Dana, Gregory Langston and wife Tonya, and Joseph Scott Langston and wife Kim; grandchildren, Kacee, Weston and fiancee’ Katelyn, Amanda and husband Dillin, Hayden, Justin, Colt, Michael’a, Lauren, and Jolee; great-grandchildren, Emmaree, Trebor, Ryett, Adalann, and Alexys; sisters, Doil Jean Marshall and Joy Jordy and husband David; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jacob Langston; great-grandson, Keston Morgan; nephew, David “Little Dave” Jordy, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Claude Marshall, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Weston Morgan, Dillin Payne, Hayden Langston, Justin Langston, Colt Langston, Justus Marshall, Dalton Jordy, and Bryson Floyd.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon prior to the service at Concord Missionary Baptist Church.
