Funeral services for Aaron Curtis DeWayne “Sweetiepie” Wells, 28, of Seabrook, formerly of Hudson, will be held Monday, August 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jeremy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Largent Cemetery.
Aaron was born May 13, 1992 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Friday, August 7, 2020 in Clear Lake.
Aaron was a 2010 graduate of Hudson High School. He was currently working in the air conditioning field but his greatest love was pipelining. Being raised in East Texas, he enjoyed lake life, hunting trips with his dad, and with being the youngest of seven he was a momma’s boy.
He loved riding motorcycles and living life one adventure after another. From traveling around the world with his wife to evenings at the beach with his family. His greatest passion in life was being a dad, and a great one he was. Aaron was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Kristin Leigh (Ryman) Wells of Seabrook; children, Aaron and Aaliyah Wells of Hudson, and Kolby and Kayleigh Sharp of Seabrook; parents, Margaret (Weeks) and Gary W. Wells of Hudson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jacquelyn Russell of Hudson, Annett and Quintin Berwick, Alicia Johnson, all of Lufkin, Lakishia Gilbert and Tillmon Lewing of Huntington; brothers and sister-in-law, Gary Wayne Wells II, Cary and Charlinda Wells, all of Hudson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; brother-in-law, Thad Russell; and sister-in-law, Lisa Wells.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Berwick, Justin Berwick, Jordin Berwick, Brian Arndt, Gary Wells III, Trenton Wells, Joshua Linton, and Brian Jensen.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jarred Berwick, Kodye Linton, and Meagan Jones.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
