Services for Jerry Lee Breazeale, 76, of Diboll, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Carroway Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Hibbs and Bro. C.G. “Buster” Grigg officiating. Entombment will follow in the Sunset Mausoleum in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mr. Breazeale went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 21, 2017. He was born October 24, 1940 in Angelina County to the late Nannie Estelle (Stanaland) and Earnest Lee Breazeale. He had lived all of his life in Diboll, and was a graduate of Diboll High School where he participated in sports and was voted cutest boy of his senior class. He retired in June 2010 from Breazeale Logging, Inc. He was a member of the Texas Forestry Association and Texas Logging Council. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Diboll where he served as Deacon, and on several committees throughout the years. He loved the outdoors and spent many years hunting in Colorado with his friends. He was a godly man with a humble heart. He was a devoted and cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Survivors include his wife Clara Breazeale of 54 years; daughter and son-in-law, Deidra and Kenney Carrell of Diboll; granddaughter, LeeAnne and husband Jason Camp of Diboll; great grandsons, Raylan and Garrett Camp of Diboll; brother, Billy Wayne Breazeale and wife Alma of Diboll; sister, JoAnn Bencivenga and husband Ben of Diboll; sister, Glenda Tobias of Diboll; sister-in-law, Ella W. Wilkerson of Diboll; nieces and nephews, Carolyn and Billy McClendon of Diboll, Darlene and Donnie Kee of Lufkin, Sharon and Bill Brown of Diboll, Debbie and Jerry Mettlen of Diboll, Andy and Maria Anderson of Lufkin, Hellen Schmidt of Diboll, Darla Breazeale of Austin, Jennifer Breazeale of Massachusetts, Trey Breazeale and Jana of Dallas; and lifelong friend, Larry Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Joe and Bertha Wilkerson; brother-in-law, Joe Wilkerson, Jr.; sisters-in-law and husbands, Novis and Rob Rains, Loyce and Steve Waley, Ima Jean and Calvin Anderson, Maurine and Joe Bridwell; and nieces and nephews, Alice and Nick Ashworth, Cynthia and Randy McKnight, Ben Tobias, and Vance Schmidt. Pallbearers will be Jay Wyatt, Dr. Woody Ingram, Bobby Jones, Irvin McWilliams, Jesse Bradford, and James Leavell. Honorary pallbearers are Andy Anderson, Trey Breazeale, Steven Brown, Trey Brown, Jerry Mettlen, J.C. Tobias, Wes Tobias, Larry Morris, and Leonard Robison. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Diboll, 208 Devereaux St., Diboll, Texas 75941. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
