Genna Martines Smith

Graveside services for Genna Smith, 47, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Berry Cemetery with Brother Kevin Poage officiating.

Mrs. Smith was born July 23, 1970 in Lufkin, Texas, and died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in a Lufkin hospital.

Genna had owned Custom Guns and Ammo for 4 years, and had also owned M&M Roofing for 25 years. She had resided in Lufkin all her life. Genna enjoyed reading, fishing and racing, and loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Smith of Lufkin; her children and their spouses, Latisha and Justin Riddles, Heath and Amanda Raines, Brittany Raines, all of Lufkin, Skylar Smith of Huntington, and Kresta Smith of College Station; grandchildren, Rielle Riddles, Jaylee Riddles, Arissa Raines, Alison Riddles, Ashlyn Raines, Anna Raines, and Brantley Riddles; mom and daddy, Dinnie and Robert Wells of Lufkin; father-in-law, Martin Smith of Lufkin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Amanda Smith of Lufkin; cousins, Bobby and Kristy Guthery, Kevin and Audra Strickland, Dinnie and Shawn Reesor, and Audie and Nicki Guthery, all of Lufkin; special friends, Crystal Smith and Chelley Buffington, both of Lufkin; godmother, Debbie Vann of Lufkin; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Martines; mother-in-law, Wanda Warren; grandparents, Vernell and Son Suggs; great grandmother, Faye Smith; aunt, Muka Guthery; and uncles, Audie Suggs and Russell Suggs.

Pallbearers will be Cody Suggs, Justin Riddles, Bobby Guthery, Audie Guthery, Chad Bryant, and Shawn Reesor.
