Gary "Flash" Nash

Memorial services for Gary “Flash” Nash, 63, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ford Adkins officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home. Mr. Nash was born October 16, 1953 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Norma (Hadaway) and Jimmie Nash, and died Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at his residence. He was a graduate of New Caney High School and was a carpenter. Mr. Nash loved hunting, fishing, and watching drag racing on YouTube. He particularly enjoyed “hanging out” with his daughters. Mr. Nash was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his daughters, Amy Nash and Ashley Nash, both of Lufkin; grandchildren, Miranda Gourley, Gage Fulcher, Amanda Page Fulcher, Cameron Nash, Sara Gourley, and Paisley Gourley; sister, Carolyn Elmore of Baytown; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Dale Nash of Humble and Curtis Nash and Lajuana Pitts of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Amanda Gourley; brother, Charles Nash; and the mother of his children, Marcella Nash.
