Aaron David Allen

Funeral services for Aaron David Allen, 34, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Parks officiating. Interment will follow in the Gann Cemetery. Aaron was born May 25, 1983 in Lufkin, Texas to Cynthia (Bagley) and David Randy Allen, and died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in Triadelphia, West Virginia. Aaron had resided in Lufkin all of his life. He was a Welder’s Helper and a member of Pipeliners Local Union #798. He enjoyed his work as a Pipeliner, alongside his father. He loved his children and spent every opportunity to be with them. Aaron was polite, kind and gentle. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Faith Bridge Methodist Church in Douglass when he was home. Survivors include his daughter, Aubree Allen of Cambridge, Ohio; son, Cayden Murphy of Triadelphia, West Virginia; father and stepmother, David Randy and Lynn Allen of Central; mother and stepfather, Cynthia and Jack Griswold of Nacogdoches; sisters, Miranda Allen and husband Christopher of Douglass and Stacy Teer and husband Michael of Nacogdoches; brothers, Corey Allen and Mason Allen and wife Raven, all of Central; special friend, Courtney Murphy of Triadelphia, West Virginia; nieces, Aleigha Hahn of Douglass and Danyale Stokes of Nacogdoches; nephews, Bradley Windsor of Douglass, Austin Stokes of Nacogdoches, and Jace Allen of Central; maternal grandmother, Ramona Bagley of Lufkin, grandfather, David Griswold of Nacogdoches; paternal grandparents, JoAnn and Henry Heflich of Dallas; paternal great-grandmother, Dorothy “Memmie” Morehead; aunts, Julie Reynolds and husband David of Lufkin and Angela Leeber of Dallas; uncles, Jim Bagley of Lufkin and Bill Griswold of Nacogdoches; and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, M. David Allen and his maternal grandfather, C. W. Bagley. Pallbearers will be Chris Ford, Mason Allen, Josh Mosley, Cody Pierce, Travis Wilbanks, David Randy Allen and Michael Jenkins. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
