Jerry Spencer Moore, Sr.

Jerry Spencer Moore, 70, of Huntington, TX died June 27, 2017 after a long illness in CHI St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital in Lufkin, TX. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Jerry was born December 2, 1946 in Monroe, MI to James R. and Faye V. Moore. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, M. Carolyn (Whitten) Moore; and a brother, Ricky (Roger) Moore. Jerry had lived and worked in Texas for many years. Jerry was a truck driver and dispatcher prior to a disabling illness.

Survivors are sisters, Sheila R. Hall, Sharon L. Kaminski, Susan M. Shehan, Sandra F. Moore, Sherry L. Feller, and Lea Wood; brother, James T. Moore; three children, Jerry S. Moore, II. of Reno, NV, Shelly Hayzlett of Gillette, WY and Jamie Cragle of Fairbanks, AL; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and Sandra West of Gillette, WY, ex-wife and friend.

We give special thanks to the extended family, friends and Affinity Hospice for care and attention to Jerry.
