Ruby Lee Ince

Memorial services for Ruby Lee Ince, 82, of Lufkin, will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Rick Clark officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ince was born November 14, 1934 in Polk County, Texas, the daughter of the late Annie Beatrice (Spann) and John G. Parker. She died Monday, July 3, 2017 in Lufkin.

Mrs. Ince was a homemaker, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, and a world traveler. She was a member of Leggett’s First Baptist Church, and had resided in Lufkin for the past 15 years.

Survivors include her daughters, Susan Simmons of Pensacola, Florida, and Bobbie Pritchett of Houston; grandchildren, Amy Marie Casner, Brian Wade Carmack, Alex Keith Simmons, and Nicholas Paul Simmons; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marie Pritchett and Gavin Taylor Stewart; great-great grandchildren, Ryder Blake Kinder and Huntley Marie Kinder; siblings, John “Buddy” Parker, Barbara Shea, and Claudine Daniel; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilburn Wade Ince; and sister, Estelle Fregia.
