Elizabeth Ann Mouton

Elizabeth Ann Mouton went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2017. She was 77 years old. She surrounded herself with family and friends in life and she passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the same. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.      Funeral services for Elizabeth Mouton of Lufkin will be held Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Gavin Vaverek and Fr. Francis O’Dowd officiating. Cremation will follow and will be under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.  Mrs. Mouton was born August 20, 1939 in Mayfield, Kentucky to the late Martha Ellen (Babb) and Victor Eugene Malone. Mrs. Mouton had resided in Lufkin for 35 years.  She was a Medical Technician at Woodland Heights Hospital. Tuesday, May 16th would have been their 53rd wedding anniversary. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.  Survivors include her husband, Retired Tech. Sgt. Belezaire “John” Mouton; daughters, Kim Mouton and Teresa “Teri” Phillips and husband Dennis; son, Paul David Mouton and wife Jacquelyn; grandchildren, Kathryne “Katie” Mouton-Grissom and husband John, Dustin Mouton, Megan Phillips, Dylan Mouton, Chyanne Mouton, and Paula Fairfax; great-grandchildren, Addyson Mouton, Millie Grissom, John-Luke Grissom, and Addyson Fairfax Garcia; and numerous other family members in Kentucky.      She was preceded in death by her parents.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Mouton, Dylan Mouton, John Grissom, Dennis Phillips, and Jacquelyn Mouton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a tuition fund that has been set up for her great-grandchildren at Genco Credit Union.  The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
