Jonathan Derik Agee, Sr.

Funeral services for Jonathan Derik Agee, Sr., 36, of Huntington will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Lesly Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Huntington Oddfellows Cemetery.

Mr. Agee was born August 22, 1980 in Lufkin, Texas to Lorene (Denman) and the late Jon Lynn Agee, and died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in a local hospice facility.

Mr. Agee had resided in Huntington all of his life. He was a Tile Setter for Allstate Tile for 17 years. His children were the love of his life. He enjoyed music, dirt bikes, and was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Agee of Huntington; sons, Colton Primm and Jonathan Agee, Jr., both of Huntington; daughter, Addison Agee of Huntington; mother, Lorene Wall and husband James of Chicago, Illinois; sisters, Wendy Strisko and husband John of Huntington, and Katrina Richards of Jasper; lifetime friend, Billy Gates of Lufkin; brother-in-law, Lance Andrews of Kansas City, Missouri; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Pallbearers will be David Walton, Joseph Mezger, Alex Mezger, and Cory Phillips.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Gates, Elvin Stewart, Jr., and John Strisko.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
