Mabel Turner Harbour

Graveside services for Mabel Turner Harbour, 87, of Lufkin will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating.

Mrs. Harbour was born January 2, 1930 in Crockett, Texas to the late Thomas Turner and Ruth (Hallmark) Turner, and died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in a local nursing home. She resided in Lufkin most of her life.

Mrs. Harbour attended Timberland Drive Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her daughter, Karan Graham and husband Robert of Lufkin; son, David Harbour and wife Bonita of Lufkin; granddaughters, Jennifer Dirksmeyer and husband Glen of Livingston and Lacy Mize and husband Derrick of Lufkin; grandsons, Aaron Graham and wife Kimberly of Lufkin and Wesley Graham and wife Amanda of Huntington; great-grandchildren, Harper, Laci, Noah, Kaeson, and Mason; sisters-in-law, Bertie Birdwell and Juanita Turner, both of Lufkin; special friend, Betty Sue Lovett of Victoria; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil Harbour; daughter, Kathy Modisette; son-in-law, Ray Modisette; and brother, Barry Turner.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Graham, Jamie Stubblefield, Tony Rawlinson, Derrick Mize, Glen Dirksmeyer, and Robert Graham.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Hospice in the Pines and Dr. Sean Moran for their care of Mrs. Harbour.
