Geneva Sue Nelson

Graveside services for Geneva Sue Largent Nelson, 79, of Lufkin will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Brother D. R. McNaughton officiating.

Mrs. Nelson was born December 19, 1937 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Mary (Saddler) and Thomas C. Largent, and died Saturday, March 11, 2017 in a local hospice facility.

Mrs. Nelson had resided in Lufkin all of her life and worked at the Lufkin State School. She was a member of Harbor Light Church.

Survivors include her husband, Tony Nelson of Lufkin; daughter, Debra Mott of Lufkin; sons, Dennis Faulk and girlfriend Allyson Noble, and Darrell Faulk, all of Lufkin; sisters, Ruby Mettlen and husband Johnie of Lufkin, and Kathy King of Georgetown; brother, Billy Largent and wife Susan; sisters, Phorcia Caughron and Linda Largent Clark; daughter-in-law, Brenda Faulk of Lufkin; grandchildren, Shannon Casper, Eric Mott, Daniel Mott, Amanda Graham, Cheyenne Mott, Angel Mott, and Joe David Reider; great-grandchildren, Laci Roebuck, Mason Waggonner, Gabriel Burt, L. J. Casper, Christian Casper, Avery Casper, Taran Griffin, Ty Griffin, and Kira Griffin; four stepdaughters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be L. J. Casper, Wesley Graham, Ty Griffin, Christian Casper, Taran Griffin and Angel Mott.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
