Isaias Martinez Rodriguez

Mass of Christian Burial for Isaias Martinez Rodriguez, 54, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Andrew Catholic Church with Fr. Joe Kannampuzah officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited by Deacon Gary Trevino at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Rodriguez was born March 1, 1963 in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico to Maria Dolores Martinez and the late Jorge Rodriguez, and died Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Lufkin.

Mr. Rodriguez had resided in Lufkin for 36 years. He worked for Gillespie Lumber Company in Nacogdoches. He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Rodriguez of Lufkin; sons, Isaias Rodriguez, Jr. and wife Yesica of Lufkin, and Alex Rodriguez and wife Valerie of Houston; grandson, Aiden Rodriguez of Lufkin; mother, Maria Dolores Martinez of Mexico; brother, Manuel Rodriguez of Dallas; seven other brothers and three sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Pallbearers will be Isaias Rodriguez, Jr, Alex Rodriguez, Anthony Palos, Manuel Rodriguez, Christian Palos, and Ambrocio Guel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Maria Dolores Martinez, and all brothers and sisters in Mexico.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
