Ann Marie Hough

Funeral services for Ann Marie Hough, 75, of Huntington will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Jackson Colwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery.

Mrs. Hough was born December 9, 1941 in Houston, Texas, and died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in Lufkin.

Mrs. Hough had resided in Zavalla for more than 40 years and drove a bus for Zavalla ISD for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing bingo and liked to run the roads. She was a Christian and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Sue Hough and husband Thomas Clifton of Zavalla, and Donna Hough of Zavalla; son, Jared Hough and wife Kacey; grandchildren, Jacob Durant and Kindle Bonner of Pollok, PO3 Rebecca White of Goose Creek, South Carolina, David White of Jasper, Jason Hough and Maggie Mae Hough, both of Zavalla; special niece/daughter, Cathy Charanza and husband Raymond of Huntington; special nephew, Arbrey Stiefer of Ben Wheeler; brothers, Lee Stiefer of Huntington and Jerald Stiefer of Alabama; sisters, Mary Few and husband Edward of Huntington, Emma Cain and husband Billy of Zavalla, Nora Lemm and husband Lester of Spring, Joyce Scott and husband Thomas of Van, and Irma Johns and husband Eddie of Ben Wheeler; special friend, Joyce Barrett of Huntington; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Irma Lucille (Rodgers) Riley; husband, Archie Thomas Hough; daughter, Angela M. Hough; brothers, Omar Stiefer, Tommy Stiefer, Walter Stiefer, and Charles Stiefer, and sisters, Carolyn Riley and Mary Moore.

Pallbearers will be Aubrey Stiefer, Jared Hough, David White, Jason Hough, Jacob Durant, and Raymond Charanza.

Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews,brothers-in-law, and Jason Hooks.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Carlton Lewis, Dr. Capellan, and Hospice in the Pines.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
