Harvey "Ray" Hollingsworth, Jr.

Memorial services for Harvey “Ray” Hollingsworth, Jr., 50, of Diboll, will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Pastor Brian Tyre and Pastor Leo Lytle, Sr. officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home. Mr. Hollingsworth was born March 12, 1966 in Lemoore, California to Brenda (Watson) and the late Harvey Ray Hollingsworth, Sr. He died Sunday, February 12, 2017 in Diboll. Mr. Hollingsworth had been employed with Georgia-Pacific in Corrigan as an industrial electrician, and previously had worked as an industrial electrician at various plants in Texas. He loved riding motorcycles, listening to music, reading the Bible, and being with his church family. Mr. Hollingsworth attended Faith Family Church. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Stephanie Hollingsworth of Forney, Jacqueline and John Crump of Waco; granddaughter, Kelsie Crump of Waco; mother, Brenda Eckler of Houston; sister, Connie Alders of Nacogdoches; brother, James Hollingsworth of Beaumont; sister, Susan Williams of Nacogdoches; nephews, Christopher Alders, Cade Alders, both of Nacogdoches, Matthew Williams, and Taylor Williams and wife Whitley, all of Timpson; great niece, Tayley Williams of Timpson; as well as a number of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Jerry Hollingsworth; and great niece, Sophie Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews, Christopher Alders, Cade Alders, Matthew Williams, and Taylor Williams. Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Church, 5301 E. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home prior to the memorial service.
